Whether I’m bird watching, taking photos, and/or flying an airplane, it’s all about wings and feathers when it comes to my hobbies. I’ve posted my best photos from the last few years so I can share them with others.
I’ve been bird watching for as long as I can remember. My family had a bird feeder in the backyard and a pair of binoculars was standard equipment for any outing. My Dad was a photographer and began teaching me to take pictures of birds when I was in my teens. Becoming a pilot came much later—I’ve had my license since 2012, completing training in 3 Cessna aircraft: 152, 172S, and 182. I have also obtained my Canadian over-the-top certificate.
I have recently moved to northern California to take advantage of all the amazing bird life that comes here during the winter months.
